We all want to make money, right? It seems like EVERYONE talks about how they are making money from Facebook ads, or Tweets…even pins from Pinterest can bring revenue…but why is no one mentioning that Instagram can be an amazing way to sell as well?
Millions (and I mean millions) of users use Instagram every. single. day. Break that down into the hourly usage and it’s mind-blowing. Why are you NOT thinking about finding ways to curate an Instagram that sells? You need to make this happen.
The good news? It’s honestly not all that difficult. And guess what? I’m here to help you make it happen.
The truth? There’s no “magical” recipe out there for Instagram sales success, but there are several things that you can be doing to create that path for you and your business.
There are three insanely simple steps to creating an Instagram that sells.
Winging it day to day may be okay…but it’s not going to get you anywhere in the long run. You have to take the initiative to plan out your content. Whether it’s pictures, ads, products…whatever it might be doesn’t really matter as much as the planning part.
Think long term when it comes to trying to make money on Instagram. If you have a huge launch of a product or service coming out soon, you need to prep and prepare your audience for that announcement. The days and weeks leading up to the reveal are CRUCIAL!
If you can plan out your content for the weeks prior, you are then constantly preparing your audience for something ah-mazing.
“HUGE announcement coming in a week. You won’t want to miss this!”
“Guys, seriously…in four days I’m going to be revealing something to you that is a total game-changer.”
See how I’m leading the audience into wanting to follow me and see exactly what I’m talking about? This is making a plan and having others want to be a part of that plan. Plain and simple.
Consistency and quality are key when it comes to Instagram. Everyone wants nice colors, perfect pictures, and beautiful images to look at, right? Keep this in mind when you are creating your Instagram boards and styles!
If you want people to follow along and join in on your fun, you need to create an “Instagram environment” for them to be able to do that!
You have to be able to differentiate what you are trying to sell on Instagram. No one wants to buy something that they’ve seen a million times. No one. And while your product may not be ultimately that different from something else, the way that you market and present it should be.
Marketing is key when it comes to creating an Instagram that converts. (I bet you never knew you were a marketer as well!) You have to find that “point” where your customers are interested in what you are selling.
And ultimately, this means that you have to create multiple images, multiple products and a ton of different amazing headlines and storylines to grab their attention.
We all know the old saying, “If at first, you don’t succeed, try, try again”, right?
In the world if Instagram, remember this. Not everything that you do will be a homerun out of the park, BUT you can continue to alter, tweak and improve so that you can take it from a single, to a double, to a triple and then finally, a grand slam.
It’s possible to curate content on Instagram that sells. You just have to take the reigns and make it happen!
